  1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
  2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Tsogo Sun Rewards members active at Emerald Casino in the last 3 months (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s).
  4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash or through any other form of consideration. Manual Draw ticket qualification is based on 3 months active status at Emerald. (“Promotional Earning Period”). Patrons have to be actively playing on a gaming device during the RAPS activation on a Saturday, a minimum of 1 point earned on activation day is required.
  5. Prize winners will be selected by means of a Manual draw and Random Active Player Selector. Draw ticket must be claimed at the E-host from 08h00 to ten (10) minutes before draw time on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  6. Draw times, dates, tier and criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  7. Participants cannot be drawn more than once per draw.
  8. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
  9. The draw is an attendance draw and all Participants are required to be present on the draws to be eligible for a prize: Provided that a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Rewards Desk from the opening and closing times for the entry bin.
  10. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g., a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino, Emerald Casino Rewards card of the individual that they are representing, and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds.
  11. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
  12. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner nominating a representative to act on their behalf, a re-draw will take place.
  13. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of nominating a representative to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize.
  14. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
  15. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  16. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  17. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
