15 December – 17h00 to 20h00

24 December – 17h00 to 20h00

Celebrations start at 17h00 when the Random Active Player Selector (RAPS) is activated and end at 20h00 with an Equal Opportunity Draw.

Play Slots or Tables and earn a minimum of 300 points on the activation day to qualify for RAPS. 10 Winners will be selected between 17h00 and 20h00.

Draw tickets can be claimed at the E-host and be placed in the tombola from 08h00. The manual draw entry bin will be closed 15 minutes before draw time.

5 winners will be selected at 20h00, in the order they are drawn they will each get a chance to choose a device that contains the CASH prize won.

Celebration Draws are exclusive to all Emerald Rewards Cardholders.

  1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
  2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Emerald Casino Rewards cardholders (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s).
  4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. Draw ticket qualification is based on 1 active visit in the last 3 months, RAPS qualification is based on a minimum of 300 points earned from 08h00 on activation day. A patron must be actively playing a Slots or Tables game when the winner is announced (“Promotional Earning Period”).
  5. Manual draw tickets must be claimed at E-host and dropped into the entry bin from 08h00 to 15 minutes before draw time.
  6. Draw times, dates, tier and criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
  7. Prize Winners will be selected by a way of manual random draw and Random Active Player Selector; participants cannot be drawn more than once in a draw day.
  8. The draw is an attendance draw and all Participants are required to be present on the draws to be eligible for a prize: Provided that a participant elects not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Rewards Desk from the opening and closing times for the entry bin.
  9. Participants or duly authorized representatives shall be required to present themselves within 90 seconds from the time of announcement, and must produce the valid ticket entry and positive and acceptable form of identification e.g., a South African I.D./South African Driver’s License/Passport or other official form of identification as approved by the casino, Emerald Casino Rewards card of the individual that they are representing, and any other details as required. A redraw will occur should participants not present themselves within 90 seconds.
  10. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
  11. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 90 seconds, and there is no record of the prize winner nominating a representative to act on their behalf, a re-draw will take place.
  12. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of nominating a representative to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the draw claim the prize.
  13. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
  14. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  15. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  16. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
