Beat the Boss

1. Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. To participate, patrons must play on a Black Jack table to earn points. Points earned will accumulate and give patrons a position on the leader board.
4. The approved Gauteng Gambling Board rules apply to all tables during qualifying rounds.
5. The top 5 points earners on the leader board will be invited to the Final.
6. In the finals, normal Blackjack rules apply apart from the following exceptions;
7. The tournament table/s will be allocated with the tournament chips
8. Only one player per box will be allowed.
9. No player will be allowed to play behind any other player’s box.
10. No surrender is allowed.
11. No insurance bet.

Dealing the final game:

12. Players seating positions will be drawn by the use of playing cards that are Chemmy shuffled on the table. (Number 1 to 5)
13. One shoe of Blackjack will be dealt.
14. All chips must remain on the table at all times.
15. A player may ask once at any time for a stack count of fellow participant’s chips.
16. A marker will be placed at box 1 and the bet will start with that player, and move around the table in a clockwise direction. After the outcome of the first hand dealt, the marker will move to box 2 and that player will place their bet first. This will continue until all the players have had a chance to receive the first card then the dealers’ hand.
17. Players must bet every hand, R100 to R2000 limits apply.
18. Dealers must not to advise players of how to bet or when to pull a card.
19. No syndicate betting and talking is allowed.
20. Proxy players/nominations are not allowed. Should a finalist not be able to participate the next player on the leader board will be offered a set in the final.
21. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
22. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
23. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
