Spin Up

GENERAL:

1. Any person under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. Table Limits – Straight up minimum R 10 and a maximum of R2 000.
4. No call bets, maximum bets and outside chances are not allowed.
5. Tournament chips will be used during the tournament.
6. Qualifying points can be earned on Slots and Tables. The total Emerald points during the qualifying period will be used to determine the Free entry.

PRIVE – R500 buy-in, R50 000 prize pool:

7. To enter, players must buy in at the Cash Desk for R500 or use their FREE entry rewarded to Patrons that have earned a minimum of 5 000 points between 04 and 18 April.
8. Free entry ticket must be printed from eHost and presented at the tournament table on 19 April before or during the qualifying heats (11h00 – 17h00)

MAIN FLOOR – R300 buy-in, R5 000 prize pool:

9. To enter, players must buy in at the Cash Desk for R300 or use their FREE entry rewarded to Patrons that have earned a minimum of 2 000 points between 04 and 25 April.
10. Free entry ticket must be printed from eHost and presented at the tournament table on 26 April before or during the qualifying heats (11h00 – 17h00)
11. Receipts from Cash Desk must be presented at the tournament table during the qualifying heats (11h00 – 17h00).
12. Player entries are unlimited during the Qualifying rounds.
13. Scores will be recorded per buy-in and will not be accumulated over multiple buy-ins.
14. Each participant will receive 100 tournament chips.

QUALIFYING ROUNDS:

15. A heat will consist of a minimum of one (1) player and a maximum of three (3) players.
16. Five (5) Spins per heat and all players are required to participate in each of the 5 spins.
17. At the end of the qualifying heats the top 3 players with the highest qualifying chip winnings will qualify for a seat in the Final.
18. All chips in play must be visible at all times.

FINAL:

19. The final heat will comprise of three (3) players identified from the qualifying heats (Top 3 Scores).
20. Finalists will receive 100 tournament chips each.
21. The finalists will have 5 spins to play and all players are required to participate in each of the 5 spins.
22. In the event that two or more players are knocked-out on the same spin; their final position will be decided as per a “spin-off”.
23. Spin-Off – each player will draw either a red or a black chip which will determine the colour their chip will be placed on the roulette layout (red/black). The dealer will spin the ball, the colour that is spun first will determine the winner of the spin-off.
24. A chip count will be conducted after the 5 spins to determine the winner and the two runners up.
25. Winning position and prizes will be awarded from highest chip count (1^st Prize) to lowest chip count (3^rd Prize).

PRIZES:

26. The top three prizes will be distributed as a percentage of the total prize pool. Prize pool will be made out of money collected from buy-ins and Casino seeded amount (R50 000 for 19 April and R5 000 for 26 April):

• 1^st Prize 50%
• 2^nd Prize 30%
• 3^rd Prize 20%

27. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
28. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
29. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
30. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
