The Festive Flavours of India is back by popular demand!
Gold Reef City, SA’s most loved local entertainment spot, is bringing you a fabulous feast of everything India. Enjoy a spectacular display of colour, aromas, music, dancing and more from Friday, 27 March to Sunday, 5 April.
Flavours of India is back with an exciting assortment of over 45 exhibition stalls. You can look forward to the latest in Bollywood fashion from Mumbai to Jaipur, Rajestan, Punjaab, Delhi and Kasmir – not to mention the branded clothing from Mumbai Fashion, Adiya Creations, Ladybee, Colours of India, Bold & Beautiful, Jaipur Jewellers and more.
Not in the mood for shopping? Why not find a comfortable seat and enjoy the live Bollywood bands and entertainers? The electrifying line-up includes performers such as Shiv Awaaz, Kashvita Dancers, Yash Entertainers, Naaz Music Production, Bash Hoosein (The Prince of South Africa), Qawali (traditional) by Yaseen Ali and Party!
All this excitement is bound to leave you in the mood for some traditional Indian food! Flavours of India has got that covered too! Get to the Food Court and sink your teeth into delicious meals and snacks such as briyani and sojee by Shireen’s Tastebudds; pani-puri, veda, sweetmeats and puri patha by Little Surat; as well as spicy pineapples, samosas and other mouth-watering snacks from Grab a Bite. Wash it all down with a thirst-quenching juice from the one and only Bombay Pure Fruit Juice! Don’t forget about the kiddies’ corner with mascots and more to keep the little ones entertained!
From Sunday to Thursday the exhibition will run from 11h00 to 21h00, and on weekends and public holidays from 11h00 to 23h00. Entrance is only R10 per person at the door. Get to Level 5 parking to enjoy all the festivities – see you there!
